Social Media for FRINGE WORLD Workshop


We’re chuffed to announce our latest social media workshop for creatives in partnership with The Blue Room Theatre, in the form of a tailored short course especially for those involved with FRINGE WORLD 2016. Whether you’re an artist, producer, presenter or anything in-between, this workshop is for you! Here’s the dealio:

The Social Media for FRINGE WORLD Workshop will teach you how to use social media to ensure your digital marketing reaches the right audiences. Presenters Delilah and Melanie from Do Re Media will share their tips and tricks for creating a great campaign on Facebook and Instagram to maximise attendances with online buzz around your show. This course is foundational – a great place to start for those who are self-managing, presenters and/or production companies. Feel free to bring your computer to take notes.

At the end of the three hour workshop you will:

  • Have a better understanding of why and how to use Facebook and Instagram for your Fringe event/show
  • Have access to a bunch of resources that will save you time
  • Learn how to create an event campaign
  • Learn the basic principles behind social media marketing
  • Learn how to use social media to further your community and audience
